60 Nm Bosch Active Line Plus motor: smooth, quiet support
The Bosch Active Line Plus BDU34 Smart System motor delivers 60 Nm of torque with a gentle, almost silent response. The Purion 200 controller keeps the key information under your thumb, so you can switch assistance modes without taking your eyes off traffic. It is the kind of drive unit you stop noticing: you pedal, it follows.
Bosch PowerTube 540 Wh battery: frame-integrated and ready for the week
The 540 Wh PowerTube battery sits inside the hydroformed 6061 aluminium frame, giving the bike clean lines and a low centre of gravity. It also powers the 40-lux AXA Globe headlight and the LED tail light, so there are no spare batteries to worry about before a morning ride. The Bosch charger rounds out the package for top-ups at home or at the office.
80 mm fork and Schwalbe Big Apple tires: comfort on rough streets
The SR Suntour NVX30 fork provides 80 mm of travel to soak up broken pavement, while the 700x50C Schwalbe Big Apple tires with reflective sidewalls add air volume and cushioning. An upright position, the Selle Royal Wave saddle and ergonomic SB3 grips complete the everyday comfort. Shimano MT200 hydraulic disc brakes, with a 180 mm front rotor, stay progressive in the rain, and the 9-speed Shimano CUES drivetrain handles stop-and-go riding without complaint.

The Samedi 28 ES suits daily commuters as much as riders running errands or heading out on the bike path for an afternoon loop. Its aluminium rack with MIK HD platform, double-wall tubular fenders and adjustable kickstand make it ready for real life, with a 135 kg maximum total weight covering rider and cargo.
