Shimano EP600 motor and 420 Wh battery: smooth, quiet assistance
The Shimano EP600 is a mid-drive motor designed for urban use, delivering its power progressively from the first pedal stroke so there is no surge when you pull away from a light. The 420 Wh Orbea battery is integrated into the frame, keeping the clean silhouette of a classic city bike. The compact Shimano EN500 display keeps your key information in view, and the Orbea Smart charger plugs in just as easily at home as at the office.
Hydroformed alloy frame and Orbea carbon fork: comfort first
The hydroformed 6061 alloy Carpe 2026 frame pairs tidy lines with a stable, reassuring feel in traffic. Up front, the Orbea Carpe carbon fork takes the sting out of broken pavement and cobbles. Wide 42 mm Vittoria Randonneur tires with a reflective band add cushioning and side visibility, while Shimano MT200 hydraulic disc brakes give you controlled stopping power with one finger.
Rack, fenders and Supernova lighting: fully equipped out of the box
The Orbea RR-01 rear rack carries up to 20 kg and accepts Mik, Mik Side and Ortlieb QL3.1 panniers directly, so grocery runs no longer mean a backpack. Orbea Alu SL 48 fenders, an adjustable Massload kickstand and a Knog Oi bell round out the everyday package. Supernova Mini2 front and TL3 Mini rear lights run off the bike, and the SP Connect mount on the stem cap holds your phone for navigation. It is one of the best-equipped models among our hybrid electric bikes.
Built for commuting and weekend city rides: available in sizes S, M and L
The Carpe 20 suits riders who move between home and work during the week, then keep rolling on the bike paths along the canal on weekends. A 9-speed Shimano Cues drivetrain with a Sun Race 11-46t cassette leaves plenty of range for Montreal's climbs, and the frame is trailer compatible for kids or cargo. It comes in sizes S, M and L, in Diamond Black and Nickel.
